It’s always nice when one up and coming band introduces you to another. This is exactly what (previously posted) Givers did for me this weekend. Pepper Rabbit, a psych-pop 3-piece from Los Angeles is perfect for some summer evening tunes. It’s ‘poppy’ enough to dance and it’s ‘psychy’ enough that it doesn’t sound like every other indie-pop artist. Think Rogue Wave meets Animal Collective. Why they have fewer than 3,000 Facebook fans is beyond me, but, with an upcoming August release, I’m sensing a big summer. So follow them here, buy their music here and check out the song below.
