Think Boards of Canada. Now think José González. Now combine the two. Now add some other stuff. Somewhere in there lies the work of Speros Constantine Kokenes, better known as Kinisi. His work ranges from soft indie pop to ambient electronica and glitchy downtempo. The hypnotic guitar melodies and soft, yet vibrant drum patterns are perfect for a long drive or an evening with a lady friend. Needless to say, he’s easy to listen to as it doesn’t always feel like you’re listening to the same thing. All his music is free at his Bandcamp and definitely worth checking out.
